Master Executive Coach & Organizational Developer
Who? For  over  20  years  I  was  leading  a  “double  life”.  On  the  one,  as  a  dynamic  C-‐Suite  executive  in  advertising  agencies,   TV  channels  and  production  houses,  I  was  competitive,  aggressive  and  solely  focused  in  achieving  company  goals   and  bottom  line  results.  On  the  other,  as  a  thoughtful  trainer  and  group  therapy  facilitator,  I  was  supportive,   compassionate  and  focused  in  building  people  centric  relationships.  Convinced  that  these  two  ingredients  -‐the   “hard”  and  the  “soft”-‐  could  not  be  mixed,  I  kept  them  apart.  Until  one  day  I  realized  that  these  two,  were  not   only  interconnected  but  also  interdependent. What? By  combining  them  I  discovered  that  I  could  effectively  support  people  in  setting  and  achieving  (and  sometimes   surpassing)  their  desired  professional  goals,  both  as  individuals  as  well  as  (and  more  importantly)  members  and/or   leaders  of  groups  and  organizations.     How?   By  connecting  them.  First  with  themselves;  by  discovering  their  hidden  abilities  and  talents,  their  core  values  and   self-‐confidence,  their  true  passion  and  inclinations  and  ultimately  their  life’s  meaning  and  purpose.  Secondly,  to   their  groups  and  organizations;  by  reinforcing  their  sense  of  belonging,  sharing  and  contributing  towards  a   common  purpose.  And,  last  but  not  least  to  their  life  in  general;  their  family,  their  inner  and  outer  circles  and  the   overall  environment  in  which  they  live  and  contribute. Where? During  the  past  5  years  I  was  given  the  distinct  joy  and  privilege  to  work  with  many  people  from  great   Organizations  such  as  OTE,  COSMOTE,  GERMANΟΣ,  OTE  TV,  AB  VASSILOPOULOS,  NOVARTIS,  MEDTRONIC,  ELPEN,   OMEGA  PHARMA,  AMGEN,  GAP,  BP,  KRAFT  (now  MONDELEZ),  ΤΝΤ  Skypak,  L’OREAL,  SEB,  BIC,  CITIBANK,  PIRAEUS   BANK,  HSBC,  PROCTER  &  GAMBLE,  PEPSI,  TASTY,  COCA-‐COLA,  ATHENS  AIRPORT,  FIRST  DATA,  VOLVO,  HYUNDAI,   ING  (now  NN),  INTERAMERICAN,  ETHNIKI  INSURANCE  co,  COSTAMARE,  TECHNOMAR,  FRANMAN,  OPAP,  as  well  as   various  Educational  Organization  (ΕΕDΕ,  OTE  Academy,  HIIA),    Universities  (AUEB,  UNIPI,  UOA)  and  NGOs’. Why? “Hard”  ingredients  can  be  easily  quantified  and  fitted  in  a  spreadsheet.  Their  essence  is  compact.  And  as  such  they   offer  an  easy  way  to  evaluate  performance,  KPIs,  request  a  bonus  (yes,  they  still  exist)  and/or  hide  behind  them.   However,  “soft”  ingredients  are  forming  the  foundation  for  all  of  the  above.  They  are  the  real  reason  we  actually   do  what  we  do.  However,  in  an  obscure  way,  “hard”  is  -‐most  of  the  times-‐  easy  and  “soft”  is  hard. And  WIIFT?  (What’s  In  It  For  Them?) So,  through  this  systemic  process,  what  People  and  Organizations  come  to  discover  is  that,  by  mixing  the  two,  far   superior  results  are  generated,  not  only  at  an  intangible  level  –  communication,  collaboration  and  employee   engagement-‐  but  also  at  a  very  tangible  one  –growth,  effectiveness,  top  and  bottom  line  results.
